Well, not exactly 'cabins', ha.  I'm always obsessed with chalets in the winter, so....     This is a de Rothschild property, a dreamy ski hotel made up of 3 chalets, 5 restaurants, a spa, etc.  Les Chalets du Mont d'Arbois, Megeve.   Megeve is the 13th century town in which they're located.  And Mont Blanc is in their back yard, beautiful.

But I could definitely live year round in an Alpine atmosphere like this, esp. if they moved it to Idaho or Montana.   The rooms are so well done!

The three chalets are named after 3 Rothschild daughters and have different personalities.  But all so liveable.

This would make a great condo--

The restaurants range from formal, down to this intimate little trattoria:

This is one of their bars, cushy:

So inviting.

How fab to have views of Mont Blanc and other awe-inspiring peaks from a terrace:

I love the romantic looks of French chalets like this with all of the rich gingerbread done by unbelieveable craftsmen!  I could easily live in one!  They are like rustic jewels!

We have a tiny community here that is very interesting.  It is high up, gets the snow and called "Little Switzerland"!

I don't like to ski, but I would love to stay there for a few days!!! So beautiful.  I saw Mont Blanc when I visited Chamonix and the views are amazing.

The exterior and location of these cabins is fantastic. It looks like a Movie Set.

I am not blown over by the interior decor...but I could fix that easily!

I don't even like snow, but I could call that home in a heartbeat.   Beautiful.

@Oznell,

That is incredible!

I love it all except would not want to sit with so many close together at the dining room.

We once did eat at an Amish long table where strangers and family all sat at this one long table. It was nice but I think mostly because we all had come to experience the incredible food there! There were big bowls of everything that were passed around. The best thing I remember were the rolls! Oh went off on a tangent there but that long table with so many seats for everyone made me think of it.

Re: FRENCH SKI CABINS

[ Edited ]

Single rooms are between $1520-$3500 per night. The larger rooms are over $3000 per night.  I can't imagine how much a suite would be.
