FLANNEL SHEETS ANYONE?

I broke down and ordered my first set of 100% cotton flannel sheets. I swore after I left my parents home that I would never again sleep on flannel sheets. Why? They felt stuffy, I felt like I was suffocating and my PJ's would get all tangled up. There was aso that itchy factor.

Now I own a condo where my bedroon overlooks the ocean and heating bills are sky high. I like it cool at all times in my bedroom, but this is too darn cold. I have a very heavy duvet, but it is getting into bed that I am chilled to the bone. (TMI?). I hate hate fleece sheets because of the synthetic fibers - they make you perspire while cold (worse sensation of all).

So, I ordered 100% cotton flannel made in Portugal (I heard that was the best quality flannel) and am hoping for the best. I hope they won't give me nightmares by regressing me to my childhood! {#emotions_dlg.scared}

What are your thoughts/experiences with flannel sheets?
