Daniel Keeley is a landscape/garden designer who decided to take on the remodel of this small, vinyl-sided house.

Quite a dramatic transformation! Love the: wood door, the flanking lanterns, ***the introduction of calming symmetry in the windows and plant-filled urns***. (To me, the new symmetry of the facade just 'makes' the house and aids that stately feeling.)
And love the gate, and the darling landscaping, and...
One thing, what do you think about the charcoal painted brick? He said that's the most controversial thing he did-- some love it, some hate it. It's Sherwin-Williams' "Black Fox". I do think it's handsome, just maybe not what I would personally pick...
But man, what a nice job he did. The fact that he designs gardens professionally sure doesn't hurt! Reminds me of a mini-Williamsburg or something.

The back looks nice too!

I'd call it a bold, masculine approach, and with a vaguely but pleasantly neo-classical vibe.
