Hit Hobby Lobby today, in the wake of 40% off Fall Decor, and 60% off Spring Decor.

First, for once I made a great candle scent discovery-- some of mine in the past have been duds, but wow, love this "Heartland Harvest", 3 wick, on sale for $11.39 :

The description is simply "vanilla, buttered maple, and fall spices".

Boy, I haven't liked a fall candle scent this much in a long time.  Such a nice throw, fills the room almost immediately, with this smooth, mellow, non-annoying scent. To me, at least.

I checked the reviews, and they were almost all similar to my impression!

Anyway, the sleek container is good, but I got my "Heartland Harvest" in the fun scalloped container that looks pumpkin-ish, two wick on sale at $10.79 :

Same fragrance, cute jar.   Tried a few of the other scents in the line, but none wowed like Heartland Harvest.  I like that it comes in this pale amber glass, almost "straw-like", quite neutral.  The other scents have other, mostly deeper colors.

They still have the pretty toile pattern in china, which I think I posted before, the brown especially perfect for fall.  It comes in blue, possibly pink, and brown.

This size gravy boat is almost more of a petite sauce boat size-- nice to have that size if you already have a big gravy boat.

Nice mug too, and bowls, pitchers, plates, even the cutest mini bowl, at $2.99:

Of course, they have a pretty toile runner to coordinate with all the china.  I didn't see it today, but "Happiest Place" showed it on her video:

They had another line of solid, rich and warm brown table items too.  This little leaf nut dish caught my eye.  I try to look for items that are "timeless" at Hobby Lobby.  This leaf dish could have been made in 1950, or yesterday-- it's a classic.

This didn't come under the sale, but I noted this handsome pitcher from Portugal.   Here and there, they have nifty Portuguese pottery.  Love the texture of this one.

I think they were calling it "beige" but it looked like a fall-ish sage green to me:

Another autumnal look, is what they call their "dried look hydrangea stem",  now $6.59.

It's a good looking, and moody stem:

And of course, they have their other faux hydrangeas in luscious rusty and tawny colors, nice for the summer-into- fall season.

Of course, the only thing I got was the candle, but still a fun browse for a Saturday a.m.   Plus, our local Caribbean food truck ( which we can hardly ever spot around town) magically materialized in the parking lot, so that takes care of dinner tonight!

Love your candle recommendation, and the price too! I just got rid of an apple scented candle that only smelled like wax.

@Oznell Haven't been there for years and was looking for a gift for my nephew's girlfriend (just meeting her for the first time today).

The beautiful fall selection was amazing!!!

My sister and I decided on one of the fall themed throws, comfy fall themed socks, and the Heartland Harvest candle for her. She is a senior in college and we thought this would be nice. ( I would like this gift for myself!Smiley Happy)

The prices were great with the 40% off. Quality is on par with Home Goods.

I haven't been to Hobby Lobby in quite a while.  Would like to check out that Heartland Harvest candle and enjoy browsing.

HL has so many nice things.

@CarolinaGirl88 ,  @AuntG ,  @Sunshine Kate ,  absolutely, it was a such a nice change.  For anyone who loves vanilla, and maple-y, warm caramel-y scents, like I do, a no-brainer!

@Major Shopper ,  you sum it up so well.  They've really been upping their game in a lot of areas.  Your purchases sound great!

@Oznell - I picked up some fall dishes from HL a couple weeks ago-ish. I got tidbit plates and small figural pumpkin plates similar to the leaf. They actually have two small sizes of the figural plates. They look the same until you hold them next to each other. I can't resist little plates. Or bowls. Or pitchers. Or treats.

@Sakuya   Me too!  Small plates, pitchers, ramekins!  All seasons, but love fall ones especially.  If it's my biggest vice, it's ok!  😉

@lynnie61 - Yes, ramekins. I forgot about those. I have many!
