Do you use essential oils at your home?  If so, what scent do you like?

I want to get some to try, in the big plastic bins from the store.  They have a horrible smell in them and I want to use them for yarn but not absorb that horrible plastic smell.

Be careful what you buy. Some are not EO but 'fragrance oils' and those can contain toxic fumes. Even some EO contain stuff in them that you don''t want to breathe either and if you have pets then check if it's safe for them as well.

True essential oils are very inexpensive. I don't trust the ones you get in the store, even though I haven't read their ingredients, because I stick with the true EOs.

I always have my diffuser going in my office: frankincense & myrrh (combination that I get from Piping Rock). Also, eucalyptus and always clary sage, which helps in focus.

This whole combo is safe for pets.

Lately, I've added peppermint, but that was by sheer accident. That also helps w/ focus. (Not sure about pets w/ this.)

Be careful of myrrh by itself only because it tends to be thick. The Piping Rock with the frankincense stays fluid and is also very pleasant.

It sounds like you are looking for a room spray or one to use in a diffuser. There are also  "pillow sprays" to help you sleep. Lavender and eucalyptus are nice pillow sprays if you are starting out.

I like Thieves oil sprays instead of traditional bug sprays. I get mine at a local naturopath that mixes his own.

Zum brand is nice but can get pricey. Most of my oils are theraputic and from The Plant Guru who is also on Etsy. They also carry argan oil (non organic) and shea butters.
