Embossed Ceramic Owl- Pier 1

Today I found this cute owl at Pier 1. He is residing on my mantel surrounded by a pumpkin and my Fall lighted garland I have had for a few years (Bethlehem Lights). The other side has graduated brass candlesticks and candles with small fall/berry candle wreaths.

I had been in Pottery Barn earlier but did not want to spend what they were asking for their owls and thought this owl from Pier 1 fit the bill nicely. It is substantial and weighty and I can use it on the fireplace hearth after Thanksgiving. Very pleased with my purchase! Pier 1 has some really darling things, pretty blown glass pumpkins and many are very reasonable in price.
