It's not my style, but I think it is well done.  Of course, the shoes make it look like a page from a catalogue rather than a real home.  I don't think they would be there in real life.

Although not my style, I find it interesting and appealing.  I'd take away the shoes, and I don't really like the metal sculpture thing on the console.  Too much of a cliche or something.  I'd find something warmer maybe, something woven or more organic...maybe a couple of books, carelessly stacked...

If you take away the shoes and the clutch, it looks like something you'd see in a waiting room...a professional's office area or a small private practice of some sort.
