Re: ENGLISH FARMHOUSE FROM THE 1500'S

@Oznell

Such a cozy, loved and lived-in (in the best way) English cottage.

Standouts for me:

*I adore the ceiling beams and brick.

*The rustic long table in the kitchen is great.

 *I love the mix of furniture and art, it just looks soulful.

 *Great horse painting

 *I love that the dogs are just draped over the couches they seem to have the run of the home (as it should be)  and nothing looks too precious....it looks comfy and welcoming for all (humans and animals alike).

*The lush gardens and I'm a sucker for climbing ivy on a cottage...dreamy!

Thanks @Oznell !

Re: ENGLISH FARMHOUSE FROM THE 1500'S

None of it appeals to me.  Normally, I at least like the house exterior and the grounds of a property but both of those did nothing for me either.

Re: ENGLISH FARMHOUSE FROM THE 1500'S

This is a beautiful Farmhouse and the fact that it is so old is the high point in its appeal for me.  The decor, furnishings, wonderful fireplace, all standouts.  The challenge of fixing these old homes and the results must give one such an accomplished feeling.

The exterior, lush foliage and grounds are as beautiful as the home that stands on it.

@GingerHead ,  that venerable kitchen table was one of my (many) favorite things!  That, and the horse painting you referenced, and, and...

A good bit of charm here, and while I tend toward older homes, perhaps not quite as old as this one. Woman Wink
