But of all living rooms in the "traditional eclectic" category, I'm usually most drawn to quirky English cottage sitting rooms. This one is a combo sitting room/ library. I'm of two minds about the twiggy mirror-- but am inclined to like it in its context!

Love the way they repurposed a long, French antique buffet in the sitting room. Using furniture in unexpected ways is an antidote to boredom.

That fireplace is kind of cool looking and I do like that mirror-it is very different and unique, but fits in this room to me! I actually really like this space!

Comfy feel and pleasant to look at. I like the idea of one, quirky item in each room. So the mirror can stay.

With the exception of the use of the buffet table and its decor, I do not care for the furnishings. The couches aren't my taste and I do not like the mirror. However, there is charm and warmth in the room and with changes, I would feel comfortable there.
