I ruined the finish on an expensive oiled walnut coffee table by using a slightly damp cloth.  I had to reapply the boiled linseed oil with fine steel wool over the whole thing, a very tedious process.

Be careful where or on what you use water.

An air purifier.  I have several good ones in my home.

My house has always been so dusty,   I have clear and black glass tabletops that start to acquire more dust within minutes of dusting them.

In the morning, I would have to dust off my black kitchen appliances and they would need it.

If the sun shine came through my windows, you could see the dust in the air swirling round.

Since using the air purifiers, I only have very little dust.  They made a big difference. I just use microfiber or a soft cloth.

When we clean the air filters, I am always shocked at how much dust, dirt human and pet hair that is on them.....and not in my lungs.

I agree with @Kachina624 . I get diapers in lots of 10 or 12 at TJ Maxx and use them all the time. Drying cloths, dusters, pie crust rolling, window cleaners, mirror cleaners, the list goes on and on. The more often you use them, the better.

I use Pledge and a rag that's cut up from an old towel, hand towel, dish towel or wash cloth.  I've used the small Swiffer Dusters but I don't think they work as well.

I use the Swiffer dusters for furniture and I use the Swiffer dust mop with the dusters for animal hair.  The duster for the animal hair is the bomb, its gets every bit of dust off the floor.
