I dust my walls and ceilings with a Don Aslett's microfiber mop with pads.  It works great.  I  can get into corners and it also lies flat for ceilings.

My house has always been super dusty, but I now use air filter units.  Boy, do they work.  I am always shocked at how much dust they collect and they cut down on my dusting and housecleaning.

@Carmie Can I ask which air cleaners you use?  I just bought another one today that got great reviews on Amazon and was recommended from The Spruce website.  I've tried so many and am never happy.  This one was by Clorox of all things and was relatively inexpensive.

I have LivePure air purifiers.  So far I have two of them.  I bought them from HSN when they were the one time only.

I like them because they work and we can just clean the filters and not replace, which can get costly.

When we clean them, they are lways full of dust, dander and dog fur.  It looks like a sheet of gray carpet on the filter.

They have a sleep mode which makes them quite at night.  I would like to get another one and will if they go on sale.

@goldensrbest I just bought a small Clorox one (as recommended above) that is for 200 square feet that should handle our closet!  Where do you get more dust and fluff than in a closet I think?Woman LOL

I use a Swiffer duster mop the ones especially for pet hair.  Those dusters are fantastic.  When done throw the duster part away.  I usually get all walls one with just one.

When I had my house, every month or so I would use my spin mop on the blinds and around the celings/walls--got it damp and before I mopped the floors I would do the walls and then the blinds and then the floor--was very easy to do--I LOVE my spin mop!! Actually found a very short napped mop head for doing the walls.

@Shelbelle I was just going to say the same thing, did we have the same grandma?

I absolutely hate doing the blinds, I'm about ready to take them all down and hang sheers again. They are easier to launder than to constantly clean the blinds.

I have always pulled out my vacuum and vacuumed the walls.  However, I have a Shark Navigator Lift Away vacuum and it is the worst designed vacuum I've ever encountered when trying to use the attachments.  Everything is at weird angles, etc.

I have a Swiffer mop that I don't use anymore so I think next time, I'll grab an old rag and stick the ends of the rag in those slots that are really for the moistened pads that you're supposed to use to mop floors.
