Did anyone else receive a robo-call from QVC about the Duraflame heaters? I wasn't here and my husband answered the phone. By the time he realized it wasn't a marketing call he missed half the information. It was something about not using the heaters because customers had reported fires. We have three of them so we are concerned. Any information would be helpful!

Looking around the QVC site, several Duraflames are still available for purchase, so if there was a problem, it must just be a particular model. But I googled and couldn't find anything--and a recall for fire hazard would be up front and center.

I'd say call Customer Service, they'd know what the call was about.

Someone else just posted with details of the robo call. All I can say is YIKES. Please be safe and stop using them!

What item number do you have? I have two, from a TSV a while back, and I didn't get a message.

Eek! I have 3 from a TSV a few years ago. I'm wondering if that's the one with the problem, because it is no longer on the QVC site and it was there a few days ago.

Okay-I called customer service. They said the model is V32316. It is the small, portable heater with realistic flame. This was the new one they had this past Christmas season. They are sending out letters to everyone who purchased them. I asked if they were issuing refunds and they said not at this time. The rep said when I receive the letter it will explain what to do.

They were just selling them on clearance Thursday for $79. Hope that isn't the one.
