I usually get a good deal from Groupon. There is one local guy I use regularly to do my vents and carpet cleaning. Groupon offers are really good. Sometimes 20%-off specials to add to the already discounted local services. One time I got all my carpet cleaned for $59!

I Googled "Dryer Vent cleaning" in my area and two or three listings showed up.

It seems to be a specialty as these guys only do dryer vent cleaning.

The guy I called took the dryer apart and vacuumed inside and replaced the hose.

I was having problems with the dryer and called my appliance repair man - he immediately went up on the roof and cleaned out the vent. It seems that in Florida they put those vents up and out the roof instead of out the side of the house, where you can reach them.Dryer was perfect after that.
