Ever drop an earring, button or needle on your carpet or heard it bounce across your floor, never to be seen again? To retrieve your lost item, cut off one pantyhose leg and slip the toe portion over the end of your vacuum hose. Pull the leg up around the vacuum hose and secure it with a rubber band. Now you can use the vacuum to safely catch whatever you dropped in the pantyhose filter.
