Yes, the Property Brothers are actors. They are both Realtors and Jonathan has a construction background, but he does little of the actual renovation on the show. The work is actually done with a local construction firm and Jonathan comes in to film his parts. The homeowner owns the house BEFORE they start looking at "possible" houses. It's fake reality, people!

Better yet then- they can come remodel my house!!! My bathrooms are so blah, with too much wasted space in my master bath. I need Drew & Scott, fake or not!! I especially like the computer renditions of 'before and 'after'. It gives me so many ideas for my home.

I hope they bring in more than the three items they list. A whole hour of these won't be great. They are expensive too and advance orders that don't ship out for a month or two. I was hoping for indoor designs.

I wish these shopping channels didn't put a 'star' name to all their products. This is what makes items so expensive. We are paying them to represent the product on TV. Wish they would just buy bulk items and let the hosts sell them.

All those HGTV shows follow the same format. If you've seen one, you've seen them all. I'd bet big money that the Property Brothers don't do the decorating in those houses they remodel. Someone with more talent than they possess does it.

I just about lost it on Fixer Upper when Chip ate a cockroach. Why was that necessary? He is so immature; sometimes I wonder how Joanna can stand him.

Same format and same design 'aesthetic'... tending toward the contemporary, granite, stainless, open concept, 're-purposed', and on and on... HGTV used to offer a better mix of shows and styles than it does now.

Love the Property Brothers. I watch their show as often as possible and can't wait to see them on the ""Q"". Hope they have some items that I like enough to purchase them.
