Does or did anyone have problem with the Monster Steam Mop??

I bought it from the Q about 1/12 or 2yrs ago. I only used it twice.

Have hardwood flooring in front area of my home. A few area rugs as well.

Decided a few weeks ago to use it. Worked okay on on of my small area rugs.

When i took the rug tool off,and change the pad to micro pad. It just stopped putting out steam.

Checked the tank and it still had water. I tried it several times with no luck.

I called them Manufacturer,explained my issue. He told me that the old handle was the problem. I was really surprised to find this out.

Seems they have gotten complaints from others with same issue.

Seems now that have a new handle,that is a straight one.The old one is curved.

I am wondering if anyone else has the same issue?

The cost of the new handle with ship,and tax would be $23.74.

Not a big investment. However am a bit apprehensive about it working with the new handle!!!

Please if anyone else had this problem,& got the new handle please reply???
