Absolutely! At one point I had about 75 of the 3 1/2" sitting cat and many other pieces. Many of the pink Burmese. I have sold most of what I had and kept a few pieces. Sometimes I regret that but as you said the young people are not interested. Pictured is my Pink Burmese Jacobean Floral Lamp - 1998. I had gone to the factory for the tour and also attended the annual auction and vendor market one year. Such fun!

I remember the Fenton shows. I only bought myself one piece of Fenton, wasn't a collector, but always thought they were pretty. Many years ago I purchased to Fenton hurricane lamps for my mother from a flower shop. I have them now. They're in a closet because they really don't go with what I have but I still like them.

Your items are so pretty! And yes, I do remember Fenton glass and the shows. I loved watching them and they had gorgeous things. I never bought any but I wanted a lot of the things.

I do remember the Fenton shows.
I only bought one item but was also gifted two Fenton pieces.
I bought a very pretty sage green vase I've used regularly off and on for years...still beautiful and I enjoy it. Flowers always look pretty in it. I'll post a pic if I can.
Mom bought me this little pink teddy bear, laying on it's belly, with it's head leaning on it's folded hands, and a little crystal heart on it's back...I have this in a little "tea cabinet" I keep small family mementos and "knick knacks" with memories in.
And one turquoise blue trinket box, mil gifted me one Christmas. That's tucked in a drawer with one of her pins in it.
I know... @nambee "knick knacks" (random thought...I wonder how they got that name?)...anyway, they have fallen out of fashion, somewhat. Although, truth be told...ironically, the ones of value, like this glass and other items have and yet, people will buy a $5.99 wood sign that says "Let it Snow" or a stuffed reindeer at Homegoods, etc.
Anyway, I still love beautiful things around that make me happy....I curate and decorate, nothing is overly cluttered with just stuff, more things with memories and meaning.
I love your pieces. I bet the votive really glows in the blue holder.
I also used to love the "Victorian" shows on Q back when that was more in fashion. I still have a painted chest in my bedroom, foot of the bed from those shows. I have a little footstool, and little accent lamp also.
I loved the old quilt shows and still have a bedset and two throws from those shows, I still use.
I'm in my 60's but bought these items in my early 40's...I always loved romantic, vintage, victorian, shabby chic, cottage type styles.
Anyway, just took a mental trip down memory lane. ![]()
If ever there is a time to bring out a few knick knacks that set the mood and make you happy, it's Holiday time. ![]()

@avid shopper I love that lamp...that vintage style lamp is iconic to a "time period" that those of us at a certain age can relate to. Love the shade of pink and paint job.
At least you saved your favorite pieces, and as you said, if there's no one to hand it down to, it's good you lightened up your collection while you could. I bet it was so fun to visit the factory back then and pick up things you loved.

@Susan Louise I don't have as many as you do, but I know some of my pieces came from my mother's collection. She was married in 1928, so those items could have been presents that year. Not much fun shopping happened once the Great Depression bankrupted my parents and grandparents.
But before TV shopping became a thing, I added to that collection at antique shops. Later I boght a few pieces from QVC. I would not buy more because noone in my family needs or wants decor.
