No pods for me. Too expensive and can't control the amount for various load sizes or level of dirt on the clothing.
I use liquid, but am just old enough that I think powder does the best job in hot water, which is how I wash most of my things. Powder doesn't dissolve well in cooler temps though. And today's powders are like the 'real' stuff back in the day before HE washers and environmental changes. Those powders were much different, and more effective, in my opinion.
I usually only get the liquid because it is more space efficient that powder, but the newer HE liquids aren't as effective as the older ones before all the changes either. Sometimes I keep some powder on hand for certain loads.

I stopped using powder because I didn't want to have to store those large boxes.

Liquid. I've never tried the pods because they are more expensive. I can get a bottle of liquid that does more loads of laundry for cheaper than a box of pods. Plus as others have stated, I want to be able to control the amount of detergent depending on the size of the load of laundry I'm using.
I am brand loyal though with my liquid. I won't just buy anything that is on sale.

I'm seeing a lot about Nellies. Please tell me why you like it? I have never seen it, but I think I read you get it at HSN?
Thanks!

My mom always used powdered, I always preferred liquid. The last few months I've been using the Kirkland pods from Costco. Their house brand is comparable to Tide and I like the convenience of the pod. I don't know if I'll stay with them though. I tried bottle of Persil not to long ago and liked it a lot.
I haven't read through all the posts to know if anyone has commented on this. If you're using pods, don't grab one with a wet hand. Any water on your hand will transfer to any neighboring pods and start the dissolving process, which will allow it/them to leak and create a big mess.

Goodnight everyone.
I'm confused as to what you're talking about.
