If you are a fan of Barefoot Dreams like I am (I have way more cardigans and tops/bottoms then I need), there is a oversized throw available at Sams Club for $24.99 that feels exactly like BFD.

It comes in many colors and in store it was reduced to $19.99, but just $24 online - it really is just like BFD, so if you are hesitant to get the $140+ throw, then give this one a try.  I liked it so much in grey, I bought the dusty blue one yesterday.

Called "crafted by Catherine" oversized Cozy Waffle Knit throw, and it's 60x70.  The picture shows all the colors

Thanks!   On my way today to Sam's and I'll look for them.

You know, it might be the exact throw without the name associated on it.

The manufacturing company makes a huge amount and then they are packaged according to customer and then priced accordingly.

I bought a sweater one year from HSN and it was one of their designer name brands, thought it was really special until I walked in to a local department store and there it was, half the cost of HSN and tagged under a private label.  That same year I walked into another department store and there it was again!  Again, tagged with a private label.  I can't even imagine how many of those sweaters were made and to have one come from HSN and then 2 more in different department stores from the area, that's just crazy.

@Mistreatedbycs :  You are correct about manufacturing and labeling.  When I lived in S.Korea in early 80s that's what we would do on weekends ( buy overages at bargain prices, some manufactured with the store's price tag, at pennies on the dollar); it was quite the consumer educationl

I like them but evidently, I'm the only one in my family.

Back last winter, I think their scarfs were a TSV.

I was recently looking for something in a closet and found 3 or 4 of those super soft scarfs, still in the plastic wrapper.

My daughter was helping me.  I said, "Look!  I found a lot of these scarfs!"

My daughter said, "Yes mom.  I remember you gave each of us one.  In fact, I think you sent me 2 of them.

So, I guess some friends will be getting some of these scarfs for Christmas.  Not family members but extended friends.  Ha!

@CAcableGirl2 What kind of weight are they?  I have BFD sweaters but never tried blankets.  Some of the sweaters are quite heavy.  I'm looking for something light to mid weight. Thanks.

Re: Do you like BFD?

I absolutely love love love my BFD bathrobes, one is a wrap with a tie and the other zips and has a hoodie.

They are super long and I love them.

@Tadaki  I would say it's mid weight, not super light, but not heavy at all.  It's a waffle weave so I think that helps to make it the perfect weight.

@CAcableGirl2 Yes, the waffle weave made me think it might be mid weight.  Thanks!
