Do you have cork floors?

Recently visited an ultra-modern home (gorgeous, vibrant colors, etc.), which has cork floors in the living and kitchen areas. The owner has had them for about 2 years and loves them. She does say that the cork has faded a little near glass doors, etc., but she's very happy with them. I'm wondering if kitchen spills will harm them. And if you have them, would you do it again? Thanks!
