In my home office, I have a computer credenza flanked by two horizontal file cabinets that serves as my desk and work area. I also have one of the XL Table Mates that I use with a comfortable chair and my iPad Pro. I've been using the latter more and more. I have a wifi-enabled printer, so if I'm not doing heavy duty spreadsheet work, I can do almost everything from my iPad Pro.

Yes. We repurposed a bedroom into an office space. I originally did a makeshift L-shaped desk out of several 2-drawer file cabinets and two long pieces of particleboard that I covered in fabric and plastic. Earlier this spring, I found out about a desk in the family that was available. It used to be my dad's once upon a time. My sister ended up with it, stripped it and restained it. I ended up getting it and that's what I use now. I found a clear desk protector for it and I'm thrilled to be using it.

No, I don't have a desk at home and I work from home most days. I work from my living room and I prefer not having a desk. I have two Table Mate XL's. My laptop and a notebook and bowl with my paper clips, stapler etc are on one. To my left, I have the second one and my reference books and a couple of pens and my cell phone are on that one. There's an end table with a lamp on my left. That is my "office". It works for me and I get to sit in my comfortable living room chair. At the end of the day, I just push the one with the laptop into the corner. We have a huge walk in closet and I don't work on weekends. So I push both trays into that closet. My wifi printer/copier/fax sits on a small glass table in a corner. The XL was going to be temporary until I set up a proper work station but I loved my set up so much that I stuck with it.

I now use my iPad a lot so I don't have to sit at the computer in my office as much. If I am doing serious writing and research, though, I use my iMac, which sits on an antique pine harvest table which is my desk. It is about 7 feet long, so there is enough room for what I need. I prefer a work table over a traditional desk. I can push the computer to one side if I need the table for some other project.

I have my Papaw's desk, which was his retirement gift from the family in the early 1960's. I remember the day the desk was delivered, and thinking it was such a beautiful desk; dark mahogany, drawers on both sides with a center drawer too---just a perfect desk, although I wasn't sure why Papaw needed one! My brothers, cousin, and I gave Papaw a desk blotter set, which to me was the most important thing. That desk seemed so big, and heavy.
This desk is now in my dining room; holds my desktop computer and printer, and the drawers are full of pencils, pens, envelopes, and printer paper. This same desk that seemed so big, and heavy when I was 6, can easily be carried by one adult. My grandparents never applied any type of conditioning oil to the wood thru the years, and being in the room with the large floor grate for the oil furnace for nearly 40 years, heat dried it out to the point it would make great kindling to start a fire. My husband sanded the desk and painted it a light dove gray, which looks better than the dark stain.
Even though the desk is not what it was on the day it was delivered, it is as special to me now, as it was to my Papaw, and I am proud to have it in my home.

We do have a desk in an area of our kitchen. It has a desk top computer on it that really needs to go. I don't even know when the last time was we were on that thing. It also has our printer. It's more of a computer station than what most would consider a desk.
I don't really need a desk at home. I have a filing cabinet for all our papers and if I ever need to sit down and go through paperwork, I do that on my kitchen table.

I have an antique oak library table. It's perfect for me.
(My computer/printer is in another room where hundreds of books are shelved.)

No, except for the desk the full sized computer is on (hate those small choices!).
After years and years, he's "rotated" over to do all the paper work!

I have an old kitchen table that I bought used at a garage sale 30 years set up in a spare bedroom. All my stuff is on it.
