Frameless candles.  I've been really good though and only bought a couple in recent months.

Love things that light up and on timers......flamless candles and anything Valerie. I go through batteries like crazy, thank goodness for Costco.

Eee gad...nothing thank goodness! I no longer have a basement to store junk that I may collect. We have a finished crawlspace that is solid storage but I have no intention of cluttering that up with nonsense. So no, I don't have any decorating weaknesses.

Re: Do you have a decorating weakness?

Televara pottery for my back deck. Love that stuff. Adds color and pattern. I seem to always find "just one more" 😉.  I have a couple of real good places that sell it, I seriously need to make a point of not even stopping in to see what new pieces are there  that I just "must have" 😀.

Have a good one ladies!

Re: Do you have a decorating weakness?

I buy pillow covers and change according to the season or holidays.  I usually purchase from Pottery Barn and hit the sale items.  What's nice about covers is your don't have dozens of pillows only 5 or 6 and change covers.

Not everything people collect is junk or nonsense.

I collect Rowe pottery, but it is usable (and I do use it) for more than decor. I bake and serve in it, use the water coolers for serving at parties, use the storm jar candles during power outages etc.

The same can be said for basket collections that are put to use for storage and organization, kitchen gadget collections that are used for preparing food, throw collections that actually get used in the evening while watching tv, or decorative accessories (lanterns, flameless candles) that are used to light the rooms at night for safety or in a power outage.

Any decorative accessory used for practical purpose isn't nonsense, and even things that are simply for 'looks' if they make a home warm and welcoming and interesting to be in, are not junk or lack value.
