I use only white sheet sets and have for over a decade. I might start using ivory sheets in 1 of the bedrooms when my new house is done being built next year, but I'm not sure yet.

I also only use white towel sets. I have a couple color coordinated sets I hang for decorating, but I never use them.

Re: Do You Mix Sheet Sets?

[ Edited ]

I don't use a top sheet on my bed. My pillowcases are not the ones which come with a set. So my answer is no.

I should ask myself:  Why do I buy sheet sets when I only use the fitted sheet?? LOL!

I have my Queen fitted sheets and

Pillow cases dry cleaned.  I don't like wrinkles.

She just irons the wrinkles.

@Annabellethecat66 I couldn't possibly sleep without a top sheet.  Mostly only with the top sheet.  Something for everyone I guess!  Woman Very Happy

@Sooner  I'm sort of there with you. I don't get not using a top sheet, but it seems quite a few folks don't. Seems like an awful lot of washing quilts and comforters would be the result. We like what we like, I guess.

@stevieb  I can't have anything tucked in at the bottom of the bed. I have a light weight comforter that goes with the flow as I toss and turn. It fits in the washer with the rest.

@proudlyfromNJ @stevieb Who tucks top sheets in?  I never have, neither did my mother.

My comforter covers the top sheet and then that gets folded back and I sleep under the cool, soft 100 percent cotton, best I can find top sheet!  I will spend money on sheets, never skimp on that!  It's all about that cool, soft sheet next to me!

In the summer, we've had a beautiful Pottery Barn quilt on rather than a light down duvet.

@Sooner  Well, my Mom always had us tuck the bottom sheet in. Sounds like you love your bed as everyone should. Nothing like a good nights sleep.

@proudlyfromNJ  @Sooner  My preference is to sleep cold in a nice tucked bed but lately I've been using a simple lightweight throw as my only cover. If and when the weather ever changes and fall blessedly arrives, I'll go back to the nicely tucked bed. Isn't it interesting how sleeping preferences vary?

@stevieb @proudlyfromNJ I would strangle my husband if someone tucked in my cover!  You remember the hotdogs at the movie theatre that rolled and rolled on those racks?  That' s how I sleep!

He's over there all rolled up in six blankets and I'm there under the top sheet.  My mother kept trying to cover me up as a little kid and thankfully gave up.

Since I only own 2 sets of sheets, the answer is no.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
