Do These Things Work (elec. window candle holders)?

I see mixed reviews on these doo-dads. I love the look of the elec. candles and just ordered 2 sets of 4 of the BL battery operated ones. My windows don't have any 'ledge' to set the candles on, and hopfully these will do the trick.

Have you used them?
