I started to post this question on the item's description page and found it closed to any new questions, so I'm hoping someone will find it here and respond.

I've been considering getting this clock for my mother who's visually impaired. I've read the reviews and the few questions and answers posted for this product, but didn't see anything concerning my question. So, here goes. This clock takes two "C" batteries. Could anyone who owns this please let me know how often one needs to change the batteries? Just wondering if the batteries might last a while, or if I would need to change them frequently. Thanks!
