Re: Do People Still Use Overhead Fans In Their Kitchens?

[ Edited ]

When looking at a house years ago, there was a ceiling fan where the table would be placed underneath. It was a high ceiling so would be quite a pain to clean and I immediately pictured dust falling down onto the food when it was turned on. I would feel like I'd need to wipe it down frequently to prevent thinking that would happen. Although fans have a purpose, I also don't like how they visually shorten the ceiling height so I'd go with a white one to blend with the white ceiling to help with that.

Re: Do People Still Use Overhead Fans In Their Kitchens?

We have a ceiling fan with light centered on the ceiling in our kitchen. We use it when baking in the oven. It's especially nice to have some cool air when I'm making cookies for a few hours. I also like to use it on hot days just to help cool the space. I clean it regularly.
