I have luxury vinyl as well.  Do not use vinegar or bleach as it will ruin the finish over time.  Check the store for very gentle  floor cleaners.  Check with Mannington for suggestions.  Pledge makes a decent one.  I think it's bona that also makes a nice one.  Get one that's no rinse.  My floors are going on 20 years and they still look great!  No steam cleaning because it loosens the adhesive.

We have natural hardwood floors.  The floors are newer so they have a titanium oxide finish on them.

I vinegar water damp mop and Haan steam them 1 x a week.

HW floor installers always say never to use water on wood.  When I tell them I have been doing it for 12 yrs they look at the floor and say "I guess it's okay....."

The Haan steamer leaves very little water on the floor it is consistently hot and dries immediately.  I wear socks while using it and my socks never get wet while walking around while mopping.

I use a steam cleaner.  As far as babies on the floor,  let them go!  Kids and people need to be exposed to dirt and germs to some degree in order for their immune systems to develop.  The worse thing to do is confine them to a sterile world.

I love to steam clean everything.  I go kinda bonkers with that steamer.

I clean the countertops, you name it.
