I'm wondering if some of those "cups" are actually shaving mugs like Grandfather used? That would seem to fit in a bathroom. I'm clueless on the plates!

Hmmm, it's very different.  I'm not crazy about the design as is.  The colors are cheery & pull you in, however, the plates & cups need to go.  The window treatment is so pretty.  I don't get why he wants them as decor in a bathroom ...  just sayin

I coluld see maybe if the mugs were old ones which were collected and once used as shaving mugs?  But the collection of plates?  I just don't see it --- at all. Surely there is some other place in the home or apartment where these things could be displayed.  It's very offputting.
