Blue is my favorite color but this is too much.  I do like the green chairs and light fixture.  I do not like the side board.

Agree with you re the floor, but I'd keep the fireplace, too.

Edited to say I agree on keeping what looks like nice hardwood floors & the rug is cute.

Looking again at it, I would replace the ugly wallpape with a lighter background paper, with sort of a mural of gasses and lacy glowers and bugs and birds in shales mostly of blues and green.

I would get rid of the hidious light colored table and the knicknacks and the light fixture I'd replace, for sure.  I think the blue woodwork and ceiling are fabulous if worked in right.

The drapes might stay, might be replaced, but the windows need a statement piece, so they would work with the right paper.

They you have sort of a garden room with a majestic blue sky and greens and lighter colors to soften it all. If you want it dark and clubby, get rid of the pattern in the wallpaper--get a little more brown furniture and serious chairs and have a smoke and a drink.

Funny that I do like the room. It's like going to a  dinner club while you're still at home .

Is this the townhouse in London that was for sale  sometime ago . I saw it advertised on TV and  pictures were posted here on QVC , however I don't remember  the exact details of who owned  the house or who posted pic here of the home.  The design style was similar to this room.

@skatting44  No, this is not from the London townhouse. This is a different home altogether. Smiley Happy

I think with a lighter color blue, without that unsightly sideboard, I would like the room.  I do like the dining set, the rug and the drapes.  The room needs changes in color and decor.
