Thanks, @stevieb

Not sure about the kitchen wallcovering. The rest looks appealing even with the limited line of sight.

Do you remember there was a time when there would have been a folding or sliding or French door between the two rooms? In this case, such a door would have made the kitchen wallcovering easier on the eyes. I mean, if it didn't have to act as background for the dining room.

I love that all color and actually had my office that color.  Clients loved it.  It was a Biltmore color.

I love it, with less patterns going on.

It's overkill @stevieb  The eye can't settle on any one aspect.

A non-patterned rug and better ceiling lighting plan would go a long way to making the room palatable to me.  I think the multiple, non-coordinating ceiling fixtures bother me much more than any aspect of the room.

I like the color but there's way too much pattern in this room.  My poor eyes couldn't find a place to rest.  I'd like to see the room with most of it gone.

Well, I like blue so if those golden walls miraculously because the faintest shade of blue, I'd like it much better.

First thing I thought of was ketchup and mustard.
