Detergent Tablets

I'm seeing more and more of these in the stores. The tablets are an alternative to powder or liquid detergents. I bought a pack -- Ajax brand -- 20 tabs for $1.77 on sale, but haven't tried them yet. Just wondering if any of you have tried them and what you think?
