If you watched on Monday night, what is your opinion? I think all three designers missed the mark. If I had been a contestant, I would have turned that little house into a "jewel box". My favorite jewelry is platinum or white gold set with sapphires and diamonds. I would have taken that inspiration and used silver, grey and white for the main colors with crystal and navy blue accents. Adding mirrors would have made the light from a couple of petite chandeliers bounce around the space. It would have just glowed and been (IMHO only, LOL) elegant and sophisticated. Plus, one of the things the judges are looking for is how the room would look on TV. None of their rooms would have caught my eye.

The cottage, rustic styles are cute but where is the creativity? They translated the raw space much too literally. I was very disappointed.
