At each seat in my living room I have a lumbar pillow done in a performance fabric (can be washed).  

 

They are all monogrammed, but nothing else.

 

No feathers, either.  No need to kill a bird....

@wilma  I like a neutral sofa and use decorative pillows to bring in color. Different textures, shapes, and shades add interest. But, decorative pillows that I buy have to have zip-off covers that I can launder; otherwise, I end up tossing the toss pillow. Lol.
