Do you like decorative pillows?

I love adding pillows to my sofas, chairs, and beds. I like adding pillows with colors, patterns, and details that complement the furniture and room. Not so many that it’s overwhelming or difficult to find a place to sit, but a few here and there.

For example, my solid sofa came with 2 pillows. I selected a print I liked that had the solid color in it. Then I bought 2 other pillows in a different color & print at a store that complement the sofa, existing pillows, & decor in the room. My DH doesn’t understand why I bought the other 2 pillows. He hates extra pillows. He’s always moving them out of his way. He also thinks extra decorative pillows on our bed are totally unnecessary.

I agree with your husband about decorative pillows on the bed.

In my family room I have pillows that came with the couch as well as pillows that were made from the same material as the curtains in the room.

At the beach I have coral colored pillows on my grey couch.  There are other coral accents throughout the downstairs which is an open floor plan.

I used to love to make them.  I'd give them away as gifts.

I really like decorative pillows...for bed and sofas.  I purchased a new sectional in March that cme with 4 pillows (one solid the color of the couch and the other blue on one side with a swirl blue design on the other which I don't like).  I've been on the hunt for more.  My husband got a recliner for Father's Day and I added a pillow with the saying "Let's Stay Home" it matches perfectly.  I've always had pillows on our bed.  My husband doesn't like any of it.  Sees no reason for it and says it serves no fucntion.  I don't care.  I'm gonna keep on doing what I've been doing.  Ha Ha.

Extra pillows ARE unnecessary!   You don't NEED them, but they do look nice, don't they?

I absolutely LOVE decorating with pillows! One of my beds is loaded with them accenting the colorful floral comforter. I currently have 4 red Christmas pillows on my sofa in honor of CIJ.😁

I have a ton of them on my bed, that I dump on the chair in the living room at night since I don't want to put them on the floor. They even look pretty in a pile in the living room 😆.DH gave up the fight a long time ago. LOL.

@wilma   You made me laugh out loud!!!   My hubby says I have a pillow problem!

I love them and have them all over the place, living room, bedrooms and even on my chairs in my kitchenette.....we don't usually sit there.  I don't think it's too much, I love the look as long as it's not cluttered.  I think it gives the room a warm and cozy feel.
