Decor question/opinion please...

First I want to share a bargain that I found last night. I ran in to one of our Menards stores to see what kind of holiday decorations they had. In the clearance section they had these gold mercury glass lanterns marked down to $1.49. I probably should have bought all of them but I only bought 2. I might go back as they are such a great deal. They are not small either. They measure 6" square and 7" high, 11" high including the rope handle. The next thing is I found these two birch look deer at TJ Maxx. I'm thinking they need a little "something" but I'm not sure. Do you think they would look better with a festive ribbon, etc. around their neck or maybe some ribbon around the middle of the body to give a "saddle" look? I don't want to over do it so thought I should ask for opinions. TIA!
