Re: Declutter 2022: What have you purged today?

New black jeans (2 pair!) and a pretty white with black and red plaid duster (never worn) and some other new pants and tops never worn but too big for me now.

I wrote on the box top someone could wear a lot of this for New Year's!  I hope the folks at the Salvation Army can put it out or give it to bless someone.

Re: Declutter 2022: What have you purged today?

So here's my last post of 2022, wow I can't believe another whole year has gone by.

We did some running yesterday and actually dropped off my donations at a new thrift store. So of course I had to go inside and check it out. It was very nice, big and fairly well organized. I could have spent hours there. I ended up with 6 pieces of clothing and my son got 2 shirts. But I did add 2 coffee cups and 6 wine glasses to the box before I dropped them off.

We bought a new shredder because the one I have here is awful. It's relatively new but barely works. I already don't like filing and shredding and this shredder made it much worse. The new one seems to be working great so I already started a new donation box with the old shredder in it. Good riddance!

I also added a pair of flannel PJ's to the box.

Tossed an old bottle of dog medicine, a Christmas ornamant and a big pile of hubby's papers from an old job. He tossed some and I shredded some. That's how I got to try out the new shredder!

Thank you to everyone for making 2022 another successful decluttering year and I will see you all tomorrow on the new 2023 thread! Happy New Year!

Re: Declutter 2022: What have you purged today?

Happy New Year, Everyone. May 2023 be blessed.

...and clutter free.

I have already begun going through some drawers and tossing misc stuff.  In the misc, the sore spot is the skincare items I am starting to toss. Barely used items that are now just too old.  Tragic.  Although a good reminder for one of my goals for 2023 which is no more beauty products unless absolutely needed.  I have gotten better with beauty purchases but still too much when I am not using what I have or don’t even remember I have it,
