Good morning.  Exactly 5 years ago I bought the V8 Absolute.  I love it and still use it.  However, it seems that the battery life drains quicker than it used to.  I know, it's been 5 years.  I'm thinking of getting a new Dyson & keeping this one as a spare.  Which model do you recommend?  Why?  Btw, the V8 is supposed to run for 40 mins.  Maybe there will be a Dyson tsv soon?  Thanks.

I have 4 cordless dysons, my favorite is the V11. It is used daily, I also have the Dyson omni glide which is used several times a day on the bare floors-particularly the kitchen. Both hold a charge well, though we have one older cordless that needs to go into the shop for a more thorough cleaning and probably a batter replacement, I think that poor vac is one of the first cordless units they produced.

@CindyDale   Call Dyson CS and see if it would be feasible to get a new battery.  Also somebody here posted that she got a new battery on Amazon that ran longer than the original.

There's a Dyson TSV on Saturday.
