The KonMari method is a system of simplifying and organizing your home by getting rid of physical items that do not bring joy into your life. It was created by organizing consultant Marie Kondo and described in detail in her best-selling book The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up.

I use her method to declutter but not fold clothes. I have read her three books.

I believe her name is Marie Kondo. She has a series on Netflix, which I believe is still available to watch. I enjoyed it because I like being organized.

Yes, I have done so for at least 5 years.  I save small boxes, shoe boxes perfect, to organize.  Just Google it and you will see lots of examplesDecluttering Your Home with the KonMari Method: 2 years later did ...

I was already pretty much a declutterer by nature, but I read her first book and did many of the things she mentioned.  I DO fold as she suggested. I DO keep things that bring me joy.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

She has some very good ideas.  Once clothes are visible by type, boom, there you go when you pick.

Her advice to thank an item when you toss it is also thoughtful.

I tried the clothes folding thing and I don't think it lasted a week, I didn't like it.
