DH was trying (unsuccessfully, I might add) to glue something of mine which he broke and got Crazy Glue all over my laminate kitchen countertop. Grrrr! Is there anything that will remove this without damaging the top? Thanks for any and all posts!

Usually acetone in nail polish remover takes it off, test first in a hidden area. or, you can call a laminate mfg like Wilsonart or Formica CS and ask them first. If you dont have a hidden area, go to a place like Home Depot or Lowe's, they always have a sample board of laminates hanging up on display, you can take a sample home to test on.

I don't think so.
I had laminate counter tops in my laundry room and somehow Crazy Glue got on them. I tried everything and just kind of gave up. I was tempted to use nail polish remover, but chickened out. I figured that would really ruin them.
Hope somebody has a better answer for you...

Thanks so much! This kind of thing is precisely why I don't go and spend a ton of money on more expensive counter tops! 'Nough said!
I will try a smidge of polish remover. At this point, I don't have much to lose. It already looks bad.

Super glue is a strong-bonding adhesive that dries very quickly. It is messy to work with, so it is not uncommon to get super glue in places you don’t want it, such as your laminate countertops. If you accidentally spill super glue on laminate, don’t panic. You can remove super glue from laminate countertops with a little patience and the right removal products.
Moisten a rag with acetone or nail polish remover. Dab the solution onto the super glue stain to soften the glue.
Pry off the glue with a putty knife. Do this gently so you do not damage the laminate countertop. Add more acetone or nail polish remover and continue prying with the putty knife.
Rub over the super glue spot with a nylon scrubbing pad and hot water. Alternate applying the acetone or nail polish remover, prying with the putty knife and scrubbing with hot water until the glue is gone.
Wipe down the laminate countertop with a rag and soapy water to remove any residue.

I was going to suggest a razor blade. I have a plastic holder that the blade snaps into, so you don't cut yourself. I use it to scrape burns off my glass top stove. I don't know what it's called, but it came from the drug store and was like $2.

how about trying super glue remover in an inconspicuous place? i got some krazy glue on my bathroom sink and it did the job. i would just test it on the finish first.

Thank you! This sounds like a plan! I will try this on a small spot and see what it does. I really appreciate the help!
