I think this is adorable.  It looks like an old house because the stairs are so steep and narrow.  Even if they lead no where, I think the whole corner is cute.

So pretty. Part of me loves a modern/sleek/minimal style, but another part loves cottage & shabby chic. Maybe it's because the latter 2 are cozy/inviting without being dark or heavy. Nice post, @lolakimono  .
