Finally have talked DH into hardwoods in the living spaces, DR, LR,. Family room and hall, bedrooms will keep light colored carpet, tile in foyer, kitchen and baths. My dilemma...what color hardwood? Walls are gold color, white trim, furniture is mixed. Medium oak colors, tobacco and medium brownish/red (fruitwood?) colors...Suggestions on what would work with this. The style I guess is modern/rustic...oh we have light brown and dark brown leather in family room. casual/rustic. Formal LR and dining room have the darker brown woods and linen fabrics, the contemporary side with a little rustic. Again, dark brown, turquoise and cream/linen color fabrics. HELP!
