I really like it but have questions about the glass thickness, weight bearing for any snow and how would a person clean it good without walking on it?  Balancing act on the outer beams or hire special equipment that would hover over and hope it wouldn't crash into or scratch -- the natural accumulation of tree detrius, bird droppings and whatever would be something to watch and plan for the next cleaning.

I'd be afraid of the tree limbs breaking the glass!

I am ready to move in.  Just have enough room for my primitives and lighten up the cabinet colors.Smiley Happy

Of course it's safe.  That's what inspectors are for.

I love it.  Imagine that glass covered with snow or..... you could get sunburned whipping up a batch of cookies. It could get too bright and glaring.

I also love the barn red cabinets and the layout.  I love a U-shaped kitchen.  So efficient with minimal walking.

Without that type of ceiling I like it.

I like it for a friend/relative when I visit.  I know I would get tired of it really fast.

Absolutely not.  It looks like someone started to work on it and forgot to finish.

The huge beams are cumbersome and overwhelming and they don't even match the wood of the cabinets.  If I want to see the outdoors, I'll step outside.
