My late mother left me many gorgeous pieces of crystal. Some of them have become cloudy and I can't seem to find how to clean them. Does anyone have an answer to this?
THANKS!

You can soak them in undiluted white vinegar for thirty minutes and see if that helps.

iI the vinegar doesn't worked they may have been etched, especially if they were run through the dishwasher. Sorry, don't know any remedies if that's the case.

You are right, if it is etched from the dishwasher, that's it as far as I know. The glass cannot be cleared.

Soak in a solution of sudsy ammonia, then scrub with a "soft" old toothbrush.
