Your meaningful nativity, your use of lights, art, your paired urns with branches and lights in front of the fireplace--  love them all.

Thanks everyone.  It's nice to have the Christmas things displayed.  We don't do a tree anymore but I do enjoy the scenes around the fireplace.  I enjoy my morning coffee there.

Do you remember Bombay Company?  That is where the nativity came from.  They stayed in business in Canada about ten years after they closed in the US.  They always had beautiful Christmas decor.

I am enjoying all the Christmas photos.  Nice to see how others celebrate.  LM

@Lilysmom1--  I used to love "wandering"  Bombay Company, and am not surprised your handsome nativity is from there.

We have a 19th century library table in the living room that serves as a mail table--  and on top, is my Bombay Company lap desk.  Good looking, and so useful for hiding larger, more unsightly pieces of mail!

@Oznell, I remember that!  I loved their classic decor and I miss their Christmas things although I should not be buying more Christmas.  

It seems to me that we have lost a lot of established furniture stores who simply could not compete with the lower quality big box store furniture.  I am guilty of buying some of that myself but the treasured pieces usually don't originate from there.  LM
