Christmas Tree Problem

Yesterday got a robo call from the Q as a follow up on the Bethlehem Xmas tree from last year that can catch fire. All of us that have one received letters telling us not to use them and to wait for further advise. The phone call stated that next week I would receive a packet that I would use to test to see if my tree was one of the ones in question. I have some real problems with this either way it works out 1. If my tree is o.k. I' not so sure I'm comfortable with having it in the house in any case. I guess the only way I will feel safe is to unplug it when we go out/ go to bed. I loved leaving it on like a giant night lite. 2. If it is deemed unsafe they have taken such a long time fiddling with this problem I haven't been able to take advantage of pre season sales on trees Has anyone else rec'd the phone call and is waiting for the " packet" ? How do feel about this? Babe
