Hi MTH! - Thanks for the info! NEW GB houses??!! oh boy, i really hope I am not drawn to them, lol. I really need to think on the deer, how many sets do I need?  My problem is that our house is not THAT large, that I need to rotate my stuff out every other year. However, maybe I will get lucky and just want the deer and not see anything else! Can't wait to read the boards over the next couple of weeks - really miss the CIJ talk and what everyone else is interested in.

Lucky for me, I don't collect GB houses. I tried the minis last year but returned mine. I really did love the cloche tho and kept mine out all winter (for as much winter as I get in South Florida).  I hear you on the space issue.  I'm also hoping that there isn't much temptation although it will not be as much fun without the temptation....Man Wink

Re: Christmas In July (New Thread).

According to the insider, the cloches with the illuminated scenes inside will be Valerie's TSV on Wednesday. The previews shown today were with a Santa, gingerbread house, church and carollers. To me, it looks smaller than last year's version, but I could be wrong.

@MTH   A while back you asked if Valerie had bottle brush trees.......

.

ITEM NUMBER H201110

Set of 7 Glitter Trees by Valerie

These are the ones I bought from Valerie a couple years ago and I love them. I got them to go with a house and church she offered.  The website said, "not available at this time" but  wonder if they are going to bring them back for CIJ or later on.  They are nicely packed too and you can use the same box to re-pack so they won't get crushed, which is a problem when storing bottle brush trees.

such pretty kitties! both of the tuxedo cat photos are darling. I'll have to try and post a photo of my two Siamese girls.

Hey GINA---

My favorite kitty of all time was a lynx point siamese--Lynx points have the siames coloring and build but with some tabby markings and they have little tufts at the top of their ears. Her name was Halley (named after the comet), she was a real people pleaser and such a sweet cat.....I miss her.  The only photos I have of her are non-digital. Looking forward to seeing pix of your Siamese kitties....

Not that I want to tempt you about fall things, but if your locale as a Hobby Lobby they have all their fall things out already---....Cat Wink

WOW...thanks for the info. That will be popular I'm sure based on last year's response and how quickly the large ones sold out.  It is actually good that they are smaller because I don't think I can handle another larger one, but I'm sure I could find someplace to fit a smaller version.....LOL.

Hi SPURT: You have a great memory. I was looking for them last year.  I did hear from another poster that they would be coming back but in a set of 5 instead of 7.  Thanks for the input on them. It's good to know that they are worth it.  I saw some last year in Hobby Lobby but was unimpressed with how small they were so I held off on buying them. I have to work a long day Wednesday but will be watching as much as I can and checking online for what has been shown.

Valerie's Facebook is up!  So far I am safe other than I spotted a set of finials all in silver in the picture with the new reindeers.  Probably something that is not going to be offered, but if they would I would consider them.  Have fun, planning and dreaming for your CIJ purchases.

ugh, I was really hoping nothing would catch my eye.. lol.. Love the reindeer - they almost look like they are sugared. wonder if she will have anymore large GB houses again.. not that i need any haha.. I see the small ones and those are cute, but I remember everyone's issues with them last year so I don't think I would take a chance. I like the spheres, but to be honest I am all "sphered" out!!! Is all of this supposed to be offered this week, July 1st? I thought the big thing was the weekend of July 18-19th?? they starting early????

Hi Kel:  I guess Wednesday is called the "kick off" so I would imagine that there will be lots of things held back until the official weekend.  I also love the reindeer and from the commercial I saw yesterday, there were large GB houses shown as well as the new cloches.  I'm sure we will have some teasers about them, but still hoping Wednesday's TSV proves to be a good one just to get us in the mood....not that this group needs any help with that.

I'm getting the Reindeer if they look good in the presentation.  I think I have every set Valerie has brought in the last 10 years.  I also have several sets from Cracker Barrel, really large ones.  I'm Reindeer crazy.  Smiley LOL
