I made a trip across town today to Home Goods and Pier 1. Wow! Home Goods had tons of Christmas decor out and I loved it. There were sparkly items and ones made from natural elements like bark and pine cones. Most everything was red and green with some in gold, silver, light blue and pink. There were some gorgeous silvery faux mercury glass pedestal vases for $40 each that looked much more expensive. They only had two of those so I bet they go quickly. There were several shelves of heavy paper houses with LED lighting...so cute. I could have decorated five houses with the offerings, but I was responsible and left empty-handed.

At Pier 1, I looked at the battery-operated red bird candles. The trees on those candles are copper-colored glitter and the birds are red glitter. They are cute, but the glitter rubs off easily, so you would have to store them carefully. They also had some short batt.op. candles with pine sprigs and cinnamon buried in the wax. Here are a few pictures.
