Carpet Sweepers

Does anyone use these? I'm thinking of getting one so I don't have to lug out the vacuum cleaner so often. I don't want cordless just an old fashioned manual one. Checked out Bissell but I'm on the fence even though the cost was under $30. Will it be worth it?
