Candles to Burn Between Now & Autumn

HI all -- I was going to do some fall decorating this weekend. Since technically its not Fall till the 21st of September...what's a good candle to burn from now till then? Last week I went to B&BW and bought "Autumn", Caramel Pumpkin Latte and Heirloom Pumpkin; I also have Yankee Harvest and Autumn Wreath but it seems too "early" for all those scents..... i know it's silly but any suggestions...what are you burning this time of year? Right now I am finishing up my B&BW "Suntan" what a scent that is !! Anyway thanks for your always thoughtful responses....

Yankee's Macintosh is my favorite for this time of year; I will use Home Sweet Home in October and one of my Pumpkin-scented types for November, then the Christmas ones after Thanksgiving Day.

I'm burning Autumn with the beautiful leaves on the lid. I am also burning Sea salt and Maple popcorn. Waiting in the wings is Leaves my alltime favorite and Pumpkin Caramel Latte. I went a little overboard on the half price sale. The fall scents are the best.

B&BW Farmstand Apple. It is a clean and fresh scent. I am waiting for the half price sale.

I hate to tell you, but they just had a sale. I actually bought a backup of Farmstand apple and I agree that it's a nice scent for all seasons. Sadly, our summer goes on for quite a bit longer, and for whatever reason, I can't get into the woodsy/pumpkin/spice fall scents when it's 102 degrees. I have decided this year however, that I will christen one of my new fall candles on September 1st, just to give me something to look forward to.

I was in Marshalls and they had new YC fall candles, must have been last years, but it is bit too early for the pumpkin candles.

Apple candles would be good.

I was going to check out BBWs yesterday, I guess I missed a sale

maybe this weekend.????

I agree the fruity scents are a good transition. I like YC Farmers Market.

Re: Candles to Burn Between Now & Autumn

This is a "why" question regarding candles. Why is it that candle companies do not use candle name (scent) labels that peel off?? I often display my candles on a plate/tray, rather than a container. It drives me crazy to see that ugly white/tan colored label on the side of what could be a pretty, glass candle jar. I have tried to scrub those darn labels off, but most are stuck on for the candle's lifetime!! The name label could just a easily be put on the bottom of the candle. Any ideas????

Thank you all for the responses ..... a nice combination of an apple scent and the "Autumn" sounds fabulous and yes Chessylady, the Autumn candle is a beauty with the leaves on the lid -- almost hate to burn it; want to use it solely as decoration !! Thanks again and happy fall transitioning to all of you !!

Lighter fluid! I've used it for years to remove labels. The one in the small can (Ronsonol) not what you use to light charcoal.
