This is the shopping area that I see from my deck. It's empty now closed for the holiday. I'm sure tomorrow it will be different. Hope your holiday was great. 🦃

I sure hope we avoid the long lines with shoppers stampeding inside to get the latest electronic gadget and gizmo.  There have been reports in the past of people getting physically injured on Black Friday. I pray that people will refrain from such actions this year.

I don't know how the BF lines worked before, if they just let everyone in or not, but at least here where I live they are only allowing so many people in stores at a time.  I don't know if they are having doorbusters like they used to or not.

@godi

I am so glad that those stores didn't take Thanksgiving away from their employees and their families.

I had to eat extra early and leave my family on this holiday when I worked for Belk.

Take a pIc when the storm hits.

I am staying home today and shopping is done except for those fill in things I always pick up.  That can be done anytime. Things for stockings.

I think I will wrap a few things.

I would nope that this year we wouldn't those ridiculous crowds.  I always thought it was stupid but this year it is Dangerous.  I have never shopped Brick and Mortar on Black Friday nor will I ever.

I shopped black Friday for years because I found it fun.  It always gave me energy.  Came home and ate leftovers and always tasted better than the day before.

I would always run into people I knew too.  Most of my shopping was already done so if I missed out on something no big deal.

Times have changed and this year especially I will not be going out at all.  Later on I started going later in the day anyway and always got the things I was after but lot less hassle.

Funny how things change over the years.. I use to get a kick out watching what people

were going for.
